A description of the services that will be used in this lab is provided below.
Services used during this lab
In this lab you will combine the following services:
- AWS ParallelCluster enables you to create a HPC system in AWS.
- AWS Lambda are serverless functions in AWS.
- AWS Systems Manager (SSM) to execute the user commands through a secure channel without granting direct SSH access nor exposing the nodes.
- Amazon API Gateway provides the API interface to your Lambda Function.
- AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) provides a secure access management of AWS services and resources. You can also manage AWS users and groups, and use permissions to allow and deny their access to AWS resources.
